Chapters 1 and 2 (TROMC)

I loved it so far. I like the character mercy, and i hope her brothers survive, it would be really sad other wise. Her stepmama really sounded pitiful and i am so sad that she did not make it but i did not have a real connection with her. Ahh i hope her brothers don't die, well all of them any ways. :(

At first i thought the Indians were so cruel and hateful, but now my view on them is lightening, but i still think it was a horrible thing that they are doing. They hate the white man so they should act like them and by this they are just as bad, that's what i think. I didn't know that she was only 11 i must have missed that, but i guess it was in a different time and kids had to grow a lot faster and they got married younger. (That and usually they died younger) Well i can't wait to enjoy the rest of the book,

I really liked it. I think it is amazing how much the Europeans misunderstood the Indians. They thought they were savages, just because they were different, and fought for their land, and their family. I have a feeling that they are not going to be prejudice threw the whole book, which I am happy about. All in all I liked it, though, I thought she was going to be a little older than she was. Since she is only 11, I think it will be interesting. I normally like stories with characters more my age, but, I like this also. She showed real courage, and I really admire her for it. I also can't believe how selfish some of the other girls were. Well I hope you liked it. Cant wait to read chapters 3 and 4 tomorrow!
